Casual School Holiday Teacher Opportunities

We are seeking experienced teachers to join our team of Camp Managers, overseeing school holiday camp programs and coordinating with parents, students, and staff. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills, manage a team, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

About the Role:

This is a casual teaching position, requiring a minimum of 2-3 consecutive days during the school holidays. As a Camp Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Oversseeing school holiday camp programs and liaising with parents, students, and staff
  • Coordinating and supporting staff, including rostering breaks and playground supervision
  • Teaching classes (lesson plan provided) at smaller camp venues
  • Ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants, including first aid and emergency procedures
  • Oversseing venue set-up and sign-in/out of students

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary teaching/education degree and registration with relevant Australian teaching organisation
  • First Aid certification (including asthma, anaphylaxis, and CPR preferred) or willingness to obtain immediately
  • WWVP or applicable teacher exemption clearance
