We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to lead the delivery of major infrastructure renewal projects across NSW.
About the Opportunity
This role sits within our Major Projects division, where we focus on preserving and strengthening existing infrastructure, including facade upgrades, bridge repairs, and civil remediation on steel and concrete structures.
You will be responsible for leading project teams, managing multiple stakeholders, and delivering projects in high-risk environments.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the longevity and resilience of critical infrastructure.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of major infrastructure renewal projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, with quality, and to the highest standards.
- Manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain quality, safety, and compliance.
- Develop and implement construction methodologies tailored to infrastructure renewal works, ensuring efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure project objectives are met.
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, and contract management, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Solve technical challenges, working closely with engineers and site teams to maintain project momentum.
- Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
About You
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager in infrastructure, civil, or structural engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure renewal techniques, including facade refurbishments, concrete repair, bridge strengthening, and steel remediation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and deliver projects in high-risk environments.
- Expertise in budget management, contracts administration, and project scheduling.
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
