About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our team on the AIR6500 Future Air Defence Systems project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing the design solution for this complex system, ensuring that it meets the specifications and requirements of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of key technical documents and artefacts
  • Resolve decisions regarding system architecture and design tools
  • Provide technical and domain knowledge through mentoring of the broader technical team
  • Engage subsystem leads to ensure architectural principles and consistencies are maintained
  • Provide expert-level advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Significant industry experience in technical leadership and development of engineering acquisition solutions
  • Extensive experience across the systems engineering lifecycle on complex Military Systems having challenging constraints
  • Extensive working knowledge or demonstrable understanding of Systems Architecture, System Design and System Development
  • Understanding of Model Based Systems Development (MBSD) and Model Based Engineering (MBE) principles
  • Experience with DoDAF, SysML, MagicDraw, Rhapsody or similar will be an advantage
  • Significant knowledge and experience with Agile Systems development
  • Active Australian NV-1 security clearance and ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data and information
