The North West Hospital and Health Service is seeking Casual operational service officers to assist in the day-to-day running of Mount Isa Hospital's operational services.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Cleaning of all floors, fixtures and fittings within the hospital buildings as directed and according to Queensland Health guidelines and policies.
- Providing laundry services for patients and staff of the Mount Isa Hospital as per Queensland Health guidelines and policies.
- Preparing and delivering meals for patients, staff and other clients as per Queensland Health guidelines and policies.
- Assisting healthcare professionals in the provision of patient care work associated with the delivery of clinical support services by performing a range of basic non-professional tasks and transporting of patients from one area to another.
The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
The successful applicant will also be required to undergo pre-employment screening, including criminal history checks.
