We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team at UGL. As a key member of our Utilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of a substation and high voltage transmission line project in regional NSW and North QLD.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and control on-site transmission construction activities to ensure quality, cost, safety, and performance standards are met.
- Interface with engineering, procurement, commercial, quality, and logistics functions to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure high-level customer service relationships.
- Lead and manage a team of construction professionals to achieve project objectives.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial or commercial construction, with a focus on linear projects.
- Proven track record of managing and leading construction teams.
- Strong knowledge of OHS and Environmental legislation, codes of practice, and standards.
- Commercial acumen and experience working with contractor organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in accident/incident investigations, risk assessments, and hazard management processes.
