Security Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge security systems.
This role plays a key part in protecting our technology infrastructure and safeguarding valuable information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced security systems to detect and respond to threats in near real-time.
- Manage and configure various security tools including EDR, Data Loss Prevention, SIEM, and email security.
- Collaborate with Cyber Threat Analysts to support incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management.
- Monitor health and performance of security services to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of three years' experience in cyber security operations, including incident response and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Purview, and SQL/KQL for security analysis and configuration.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, and ASD E8.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and escalate risks when necessary.
- A solid understanding of security technologies, network architecture, and cloud-based security services.
- Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security and a background in IT or Computer Science.
