Overview

Azure and Melbourne are at the forefront of a groundbreaking project that aims to revolutionize cardiac diagnostics. We seek two skilled professionals to join our Cardiac Diagnostic team as Cardiac Physiologists.

 

The role

As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will be working closely with our Cardiology Department to provide high-quality echocardiogram services. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive assessments and interpreting results to inform patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example in demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of cardiac technology and its applications.
  • Conduct thorough echocardiograms requiring advanced expertise and exercise professional judgement when acting on findings.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to perform transoesophageal and treadmill/pharmacological stress echocardiograms.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems and procedures.
  • Reflect on practice and embody Austin Health values in interactions with colleagues and patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a fully accredited Cardiac Physiologist trained in Echocardiography. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
