Job Title: Financial Services Accountant

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in financial services, with experience in compliance work and tax planning.

The Opportunity

We focus on providing high-quality accounting services to large companies and high net worth individuals. Our clients require expert advice on financial matters, including tax returns, BAS, IAS, and payroll tax.

The Duties
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns for clients
  • Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on behalf of clients
  • Calculate tax liabilities, including Div7a, CGT, FBT, and payroll tax
  • Assist directors with financial planning and budgeting
  • Utilize HandiTax, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks software
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Close to completion of Chartered Accountants (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) studies
  • 1-3 years of experience in public practice
  • Experience using MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks software
  • Strong technical skills and excellent communication skills
