Early Childhood Educator Leader Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our Gumdale team as a Centre Leader. This is a unique chance to inspire, motivate and affirm educators in delivering high-quality care for children.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and mentoring skills, be approachable and willing to learn, and possess sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of educators to achieve high-quality care for all children within the service
  • Ensure children's learning is documented in a high quality and professional manner using Storypark
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality practices are consistently embedded across the service
  • Establish and foster strong and inclusive relationships with children to achieve quality learning and development outcomes
  • Build a supportive relationship with families to allow for honest and open communication of expectations and needs
  • Assist in ensuring high-quality practices and procedures are being met according to the NQS
  • Ensure the inclusion and support of all children's learning abilities
About You

As a qualified and experienced educator, you will be able to create environments that inspire growth, creativity and a lifelong love of learning. Your ability to provide excellent support and mentorship to educators will see you succeed in this role.

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Diploma level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
  • Passionate about children, their development, and safety
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement a quality education program
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework & National Law
  • Understand leadership and mentoring, be approachable & willing to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possession of current First Aid, PR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Valid Working with Children Check
