Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a qualified Mechanic to support our operations in Australia. The ideal candidate will be residing in Australia or New Zealand and will be able to join our Saxon Land Rigs team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Saxon Land Rigs equipment
  • Assist in the installation and removal of equipment
  • Conduct safety inspections and report any issues
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

  • Full right to live and work in Australia
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Ability to work long hours and in extreme weather conditions
  • Valid manual driver's license
  • Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Safety Induction (formally DCGI)
  • First response to fire incidents
  • Operate Breathing Apparatus
  • First Aid (including CPR)
  • Enter and work in Confined Space with Gas Test Atmospheres
  • Wellsite Permit to Work (Holder)
  • Working at Heights with Gotcha Kit
  • Operate Vehicles in the Field (4WD certificate)
