In this role, you will actively engage with participants to help them overcome career challenges and develop essential skills to achieve their employment objectives. As an Employment Coach, you will work collaboratively with a supportive team who are committed to delivering excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs and creating personalised action plans
  • Conduct career assessments and help clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals
  • Use sales strategies to network with community organisations and create opportunities for participants
  • Assist participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation
  • Referring participants through training, counselling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met

About You:

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, empathetic, and dedicated to making a difference in people's lives. You will have experience in administration, strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and outlined KPI targets, and able to work in an agile environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service, client-facing or an administrative role
  • Time management, organisational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise in order to achieve outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments, develop case plans, and case notes and reports
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems
  • Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills
