About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing & Customer Value team, a business partnering function within the Commercial division of Woolworths Supermarkets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Category Teams to analyze and interpret cost increase submissions from suppliers.
  • Identify customer value insights and deliver optimal financial outcomes for both customers and the business.
  • Deep dive into supplier cost increase submissions, meticulously analyzing data to uncover hidden opportunities for cost reduction, avoidance, and optimization.
  • Translate cost insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive tangible financial benefits for both customers and the business.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to Category Teams, providing expert guidance on pricing strategies, cost analysis, and value optimization.
  • Participate in commercial forums, contributing valuable insights and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Pricing, Finance, or Commercial roles, preferably in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at building and maintaining strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders across the business.
  • Adept at transforming datasets into compelling narratives, crafting complex analyses that yield actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets (MS Excel) and Google Slides (MS Power Point).
  • Experience with data modeling, basic to intermediate SQL skills, familiarity with Big Query and GCP.
