Job Summary

Australian Weighing Equipment Pty Ltd (AWE Group) is a leading provider of weighing systems, packaging machinery, and bulk material handling services. We are seeking an experienced Electronic Instrument Trades Worker to join our team in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne.

The successful candidate will provide technical support to our National Business Development Manager and Directors, installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing complex electronic instruments and control systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with our team to provide excellent services to clients

Conduct regular checks on weighing systems, packaging machines, and control systems to identify any issues

Record and report any issues to the National Business Development Manager and Directors

Provide advice to clients on the correct operating procedures of our equipment

Develop effective solutions to issues discovered and maintain our machines or systems in line with company standards and client needs

Establish and cultivate solid business relationships with key stakeholders

Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and safe work practices

Requirements

AQF Certificate III or IV in a relevant field

At least three years' experience in a similar role

Excellent leadership skills and ability to deliver operational and business outcomes

Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to connect with stakeholders

Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure

Highly developed computer literacy skills

Full-time work rights in Australia

Valid driver's licence
