Electrical Trainer and Maintenance Specialist

At 29Metals Limited, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Trainer and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Golden Grove operation in Western Australia.
About the RoleThis is a key position that will play a critical role in developing and maintaining training systems and materials for electrical trade employees. You will be responsible for identifying, implementing, and monitoring training and competency requirements.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing procedures and work instructions for training and operational needs;
- Working with department coordinators and supervisors to create an annual training plan and monitoring progress against objectives;
- Coordinating and overseeing training activities for the electrical team, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and accommodation;
- Assessing personnel competency against standards and ensuring skill meet departmental and site requirements;
- Managing the InTuition training management system to maintain accurate records of training activities.
We estimate this position's salary to be between $120,000 and $160,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
About YouWe are looking for an experienced trainer with a background in electrical maintenance roles, ideally within the mining industry. Your skills and qualifications should include:
- A Grade Electrical Worker's Licence (WA);
- High Voltage Switching certification;
- Formal training and assessment qualification;
- First Aid certificate, including Low Voltage Rescue and CPR;
- Current C class driver's licence (manual).
You will also have exposure to training management systems, such as InTuition or similar systems.
