Outside of School Hours Care Educator Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as an Outside of School Hours Care Educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality educational programs for children, ensuring their safety and well-being, and working collaboratively with other educators to achieve our mission.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong passion for working with children and families;
  • Previous experience in the childcare industry (ideal but not essential);
  • A willingness to enrol in or completion of an ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Level qualification;
  • A valid Employee Working with Children's Check; and
  • HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting certification.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the needs and interests of children;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required;
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery;
  • Work collaboratively with other educators and support staff to achieve our goals and objectives;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment for children.
