Renal Vascular Access Clinical Nurse Consultant

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with advanced practice expertise to join our team as a Renal Vascular Access Clinical Nurse Consultant.
The successful candidate will provide expert nephrology nursing care, applying a diverse range of interventions based on theoretical concepts, research findings, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning.
You will work collaboratively with vascular, radiology, and renal teams to promote a collaborative interdisciplinary approach to care.
Your key responsibilities will include managing the creation of dialysis access for patients on referral from public, private, and regional clinics.
You will also coordinate Rapid Access multidisciplinary team meetings and action treatment pathways, ensuring timely consent and surgery for patients referred to the renal access clinic.

Requirements- Degree in general Nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Post Grad Certificate/ Diploma in Renal Nursing
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
