Job Title: Cyber Threat Intel Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build strong working relationships and establish effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop timely threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders, focusing on threat monitoring and collection activities.
  • Analyse threat intelligence from various sources to derive actionable insights and inform cyber preparedness strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber threats to support forward-looking threat preparedness initiatives.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for leading threat intelligence efforts across a complex environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with business units to embed robust cyber practices that deliver real value.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar threat intelligence role within a large organisation.
  • Understanding of CTI frameworks, approaches, and methods, as well as cyber security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF).
  • Experience in creating comprehensive cyber threat profiles, considering current and emerging threats, actors, techniques, and trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with influencing and presentation skills to communicate complex topics effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple organisational levels and stakeholder types.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and commitment by regularly going above and beyond to deliver exceptional results.
  • Outstanding initiative and determination to persist through challenges.
  • Be humble, reliable, and a team player.
  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Intelligence, or a related field.
  • General industry certifications in cyber security and intelligence are advantageous.
