About the Role

The ACT Government's Community Services Directorate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join the Case Analysis Team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and management of the team, identifying areas of practice improvement, and conducting analysis of individual cases to support the continuous improvement of CYF practice and decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management of the Case Analysis Team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
  • Conduct analysis of individual cases, taking into consideration all relevant information held by CYF, to identify areas of practice improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen training, policy, and procedures, and practice guidance to staff.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Services and Practice Assurance (CSPA) Branch to ensure alignment with the Directorate's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of efforts.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Welfare, Social Science, or related discipline.
  • At least five (5) years of practical experience working with children, young people, and/or their families in a social work/case management role.
  • Current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
  • Driver's License (C class) is essential.
