About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Application Developer to join our client, a leading mining company, in a contract role. As a key member of the Improved Maintenance Management (IMM) Project team, you will be responsible for enhancing Asset Management planning and scheduling functions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Architecture: Lead the technical architecture, managing risks, issues, and challenges associated with design and implementation.
  • SAP Plant Maintenance: Design and develop capabilities within SAP Plant Maintenance, creating user-friendly interfaces for new business processes in Enterprise Asset Management.
  • Business Process Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business process requirements, breaking down user stories to derive technical demands and solution designs.
  • SAP BTP Solutions: Build, operate, and maintain end-to-end solutions using SAP BTP, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams and business requirements.
  • SAP Fiori Applications: Customize and extend SAP Fiori applications to enhance user experience and streamline processes.
  • Integration and Troubleshooting: Collaborate with functional teams to integrate SAP BTP solutions seamlessly into business processes, troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, and ensure smooth operations and reliable performance.
  • SuccessFactors Integration: Develop and maintain integrations within the SAP SuccessFactors environment.
  • Agile Methodologies: Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to the continuous improvement of agile practices and processes.
  • External Partnerships: Work closely with external strategic partners to transition deliverables from development to operational support.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve support processes and enhance the quality of user interactions.
  • Third-Party System Integration: Integrate third-party systems with SAP BTP, enabling users to perform all tasks within a single application environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain expertise in ABAP, Gateway, CDS, OData, and API integration.
Key Skills & Experience
  • SAP BTP Experience: Proven experience in developing applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • SAP Plant Maintenance: Strong understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance, Fiori applications, and integration with third-party systems.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in ABAP, Gateway, CDS, OData, and API integration.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex business processes and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies and a commitment to continuous improvement.
