Job Title: Speech Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Therapist to join our team at HealthcareLink. As a Speech Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including NDIS participants and individuals recovering from life-altering accidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Manage and provide high-quality service to a small, diverse caseload of complex clients, parents, and carers, demonstrating exemplary clinical skills.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Co-manage clients through clinical collaboration with other practitioners, such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and dietitians, demonstrating a capacity to work independently and in a team.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional development and supervision and mentoring to constantly progress your knowledge and clinical skills.
  • Team Culture and Success: Contribute to team culture and success with your proactive, can-do approach and high-level initiative.

Essential Criteria:
  • Certification: Be a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Client Focus: Be enthusiastic about working with NDIS participants and able to work with diverse clients.
  • Independence: Be committed to independently providing speech therapy consultations.
  • Assessment Experience: Have experience in a range of speech therapy assessments.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate excellent ability to set and follow treatment schedules and manage deadlines.
  • Goal-Oriented: Be goal-oriented, ambitious, and eager to excel.
