Team Leader Job Description

The Labour Hire Authority protects Victorian workers from exploitation and improves transparency and integrity in the labour hire industry by regulating businesses that provide or use labour hire services. Our agency is established to administer the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018, an independent entity with licence fees from labour hire businesses as our sole funding source.

Licenced labour hire providers are required to adhere to specific standards of behaviour and undergo regular monitoring and enforcement activities. This ensures a high level of professionalism within the industry.

In this role, you will lead a team of staff, guiding them through standard operational processes and quality assurance measures while operating within the regulatory framework. Collaboration with our Manager on the development and refinement of the licensing system and processes is also expected.

You will be responsible for ensuring staff are trained in all relevant aspects of the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM). Your leadership skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills will play a crucial role in engaging with the business community in Victoria.
