Cloud Security Leadership Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced cybersecurity risk professional to lead cloud security control design and implementation.

Ambitious individuals will enjoy overseeing the operation of security controls, supporting cross-functional teams, and driving remediation to achieve target risk outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technology leaders and product owners to establish cloud security standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct assessments to identify weaknesses in cloud-based assets and develop strategies to address them.
  • Engage stakeholders to build rapport and drive change across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Be willing to challenge the status quo and continually expand your skills and knowledge.
  • Have experience working with cloud security solutions and implementing tools in large IT environments.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making processes.
Technical Skills:
  • Understanding of hybrid and cloud-native environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and how security controls apply to them.
  • Applied knowledge of ASD ISM, NIST CSF, CIS, and ACSC Essential Eight cyber mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in SSPM, CSPM, CNAPP, CIEM.
  • Experience with vulnerability prioritisation frameworks (e.g., CVSS, EPSS).
  • Understanding of web application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
  • Security certifications: AWS/Azure security; CISSP, CISM.
