Community Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic professional to provide support services to individuals in their own homes or Residential Aged Care facilities.

  • Offer essential care services, including personal assistance, meal preparation, transport, and social support to aged, frail, and disabled individuals.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as showering, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Perform household chores like vacuuming, dusting, and cooking basic meals.
  • Provide transportation, shopping assistance, and support with mobility or therapy services.
  • Collaborate with consumers, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver quality care and support consumer independence.

About You:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability, or Home and Community).
  • Previous experience in direct care services, particularly with aged, frail, or disabled individuals.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work effectively in a team, and communicate well with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • A patient, flexible, resilient approach, focusing on solutions.
  • Dependable, reliable, and respectful towards clients, carers, family members, and colleagues.
