Delivering high-quality designs for land development projects is a key objective of this role.

The Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from feasibility studies and planning approvals to detailed design and construction.

  • Expertise in designing earthworks, retaining walls, sewer and water reticulation, stormwater drainage, and road design will be essential for success in this role.
  • Collaboration with clients, external consultants, internal engineers, civil designers, and draftspersons will be necessary to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Effective time management and budgeting skills are required to plan and complete design projects within agreed parameters.
  • Mentoring younger staff members will also be an important aspect of this role.
Qualifications

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • Relevant industry experience, ideally 5+ years.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD, 12D software, and/or Civil 3D.
  • A sound knowledge of Australian Standards and Codes, as well as local government authorities.
  • Able to demonstrate autonomous design skills and decision-making processes to move projects forward.
  • Experience working in a consultancy environment, preferably with local councils and authorities.
