The role of an Auxiliary Firefighter is multifaceted, requiring the ability to respond to a wide range of emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond promptly and effectively to fire and other emergency incidents as part of a team-based approach.
- Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and relevant training courses provided by the organisation.
- Promote community safety and emergency preparedness by actively engaging in community education activities.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate performance through Vision, focusing on organisational objectives, acting proactively, responding flexibly to change, focusing on customers, and seeking continuous improvement.
Additionally, they will be able to demonstrate Performance through Results, focusing on performance, managing internal and external relationships, supporting others' capability development, and giving constructive feedback.
