We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner in Addiction Medicine.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals struggling with poly-substance use dependence. This will involve delivering nursing care that reflects current standards of practice and adhering to policies and procedures of the healthcare district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, efficient, and effective nursing care to patients with complex needs.
- Provide case management and support to patients accessing opiate agonist treatment (OAT).
- Demonstrate expertise in assessment and management of substance use disorders, including withdrawal states.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and demonstrate experience in managing substance use disorders and withdrawal states.
