We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crushing Electrician to join our team at the Yilgarn Iron Ore Project. As an integral part of our Crushing Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of crushing and screening equipment.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with a 8/6 FIFO roster based in the Shire of Yilgarn. You will work closely with our team to achieve project goals and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant machinery and equipment
  2. Repair & maintain equipment by attending breakdowns and performing routine planned maintenance
  3. Experience conducting statutory testing on electrical infrastructure
  4. Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 requirements
  5. Sound knowledge of WHS Act/Regulations and Mines Electrical Logbook is also highly regarded

Requirements

  • Current WA Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A Grade)
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate
  • CPR/LVR (Within 1 year)
  • First Aid (Within 2 years)
  • Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • HR drivers licence (desirable)
  • OH&S Construction Card
  • HRWL – Confined Spaces and Working at Heights
  • Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
