Logistics Officer

The role of Logistics Officer is a key position in the Australian Government's Maritime Cross-Platform Systems Program Office (MCPSPO). This individual will be responsible for managing logistics inventory and asset management within an integrated workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inventory Management: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and achieving material logistics inventory and asset management work within an integrated workforce.
  • Research and Analysis: Developing a solid understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, and Defence's mission and policy requirements is essential for this role.
  • Organisation and Decision Making: Organising your workflow, making independent decisions relating to your area of responsibility and seeking guidance when required are critical skills for this position.
  • Liaison and Coordination: Liaising and coordinating with a broad range of stakeholders, including executives, contractors, APS and ADF members to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes is a vital aspect of this role.
