Financial Operations Specialist

This is a hands-on position in a small team of three within the financial department, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The role involves various finance-related tasks and requires a comprehensive understanding of financial principles.

  • Accounts Payable processing: Manage invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Accounts Receivable processing: Process customer payments, reconcile statements, and track outstanding balances.
  • Payroll and timesheet support & processing: Assist with payroll calculations, timesheet submissions, and employee benefits administration.
  • Bank account & credit card reconciliations: Verify transactions, detect discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Supporting month-end processes & reconciliations: Collaborate with colleagues to close out accounts, record journal entries, and prepare financial reports.

The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience in a similar role and be eager to learn, grow, and develop their skills. Proficiency in using basic formulas in Excel is also advantageous.
