**About Alma Nove**

We are a fine dining restaurant located in a popular tourist precinct, seeking a skilled Sommelier to join our launch team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional wine and beverage service to our discerning guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide expert wine knowledge and recommendations to guests
  • Manage wine inventory and maintain a high level of wine knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Assist with wine list development and maintenance
  • Participate in wine tastings and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest wine trends

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience as a Sommelier in a fine dining or luxury service environment
  • Completed Sommelier Australia accredited education program, such as the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and/or the Court of Master Sommeliers education program
  • Strong knowledge of wine and beverage service principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
