Electrical Tradesperson

At AKD Softwoods, we're committed to developing the skills of our employees through our Apprenticeship Program. As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment, working with state-of-the-art equipment and multimillion-dollar projects.

The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment, as well as interpreting technical documents and performing preventative maintenance. You'll also have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks, including fault finding and root cause analysis, and providing technical support.

Our apprentices work in a hands-on environment, gaining the skills to work across many different parts of our business. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge equipment and new technology, and will be supported by a dedicated Training Manager throughout your apprenticeship.
