Job Overview

The Senior Information Technology Audit Manager role is a newly created position within the Group Audit function at PX Resources. The successful candidate will support the General Manager, Internal Audit in enhancing the organisation's data, digital, and systems implementation and capability.

Main Duties
  • Developing audit plans and frameworks in consultation with the Board, Committees and senior management in relation to data management, systems, digital transformation and technology.
  • Conducting comprehensive audits of IT systems, applications, infrastructure and transformation programs.
  • Providing timely and accurate reporting with agreed actions addressing identified risks.
  • Providing guidance to business divisions on the implementation of agreed action items, ensuring risks have been mitigated.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging IT trends, initiatives, developments and industry best practices.
  • Developing and updating the internal audit methodology as needed.
  • Providing training to junior auditors to assist them in uplifting their skills and knowledge.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Circa 10+ years internal audit, assurance, controls or risk management experience.
  • Background in financial services or big 4 consulting firm is ideal.
  • Prior experience developing and executing audit plans, focusing on ITGC, data management, digital transformation and systems.
  • Prior experience building and enhancing audit function is ideal.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
