We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to lead our laboratory team. As Lab Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lab, ensuring that all quality control testing is performed efficiently and effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as Lab Director. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of laboratory staff, managing lab operations, conducting quality assurance testing, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

You will work closely with our Quality Manager to ensure that all quality standards are met and that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Lead and manage the laboratory team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance testing of raw materials and finished products, including NIR, wet chemistry, and physical testing.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective actions as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in science or laboratory-related field (or equivalent qualification).
• 4–5 years of laboratory or quality assurance experience.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (ISO, HACCP) and laboratory best practices.
• Analytical skills to interpret test results and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
