Handyman Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and reliable handyman to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the motel's rooms and common areas are well-maintained and repaired.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance & repairs in rooms and common areas
  • Building maintenance, including plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings
  • Keeping the yard and common areas clean and tidy
  • Maintaining gardens and landscaping
  • Emptying rubbish bins and recycling facilities
  • Conducting swimming pool checks
  • Collecting items from local suppliers
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle required
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Experience with many aspects of repairs and maintenance
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment
  • Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
  • Understanding of workplace safety procedures
  • Ability to communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Flexibility with shifts and schedules
