Job Opportunity: Food Service Assistant

About the Position:
  • The Royal Freemasons community is looking for experienced and motivated food service assistants to join their team at Mount Martha Valley Residential Aged Care Facility located in Safety Beach.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide quality food and beverage services to residents, ensuring individual nutritional requirements and preferences are met. This position also supports the overall well-being of residents by creating an enjoyable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of dining rooms and tables.
  • Preparing, serving, and presenting food and beverages according to established food safety protocols.
  • Serving the correct food and beverages to each resident based on their dietary/specialised nutritional requirements.
  • Providing high-standard customer service during meal services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A valid police clearance or national disability insurance scheme (NDIS) worker screening clearance is mandatory for this role.
  • All aged care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and receive the flu-vaccine.
  • A food handling certificate is required.
