About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our Rail Infrastructure team in Western Australia. As a key member of our Supply Chain Services Asset Management division, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to optimise asset performance and ensure the safe operation of our rail infrastructure.

As a Rail Infrastructure Asset Strategist, you will be responsible for:

  • Optimising asset performance through data-driven decision-making and strategic planning
  • Developing and implementing asset management strategies to reduce maintenance costs and improve reliability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Maintaining site Asset Criticality Assessment (ACA) registers and conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment policies

You will also have the opportunity to work on complex problem-solving and root cause analysis, leveraging your strong analytical skills and experience in defect elimination processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in asset management, with a focus on reliability engineering
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive process improvements
  • Proven experience in leadership roles, with a track record of mentoring and coaching junior staff
  • A current Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's Licence (Manual)
