Job Title: Experienced Glass Products Transportation Professional

We are seeking a skilled and reliable driver to transport glass products safely and efficiently between our warehouse and various building sites in the Perth Metro area.

About the Role:

  • Loading glass products onto A Frames and ensuring they are securely tied down in accordance with the Chain of Responsibility obligations
  • Verifying loaded product in accordance with job records and schedules
  • Returning trips to Bunbury, which typically occur 2 days per week, as well as making intermittent deliveries to various building sites in the Perth Metro area
  • Unloading glass products at the Bunbury warehouse and manually off-loading products at building sites
  • Conducting regular maintenance checks on the vehicle and other equipment, such as A frames
  • Assisting the glass processing team by working on automated glass processing equipment, including cutting tables, toughening plant, and KSR

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operate a heavy vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
  2. Load and unload glass products using manual handling practices
  3. Verify loaded product against job records and schedules
  4. Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in glass handling and transportation
  • Holding a current HR (Manual) Truck license
  • Familiarity with Chain of Responsibility obligations
  • Knowledge of safe manual handling practices
  • Able to communicate effectively with people and work in a team
  • Customer-focused and committed
