Senior Tradesperson

We seek skilled individuals to join our maintenance team in Cairns, supporting the safe and efficient operation of high-performance commercial vessels on the Great Barrier Reef.

This full-time role is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining fleet and marine infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting and repairing equipment, vessels, and facilities
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used

The ideal candidate will possess relevant trade qualifications (Cert III or higher), proven experience in their trade, preferably within the marine, defence, or heavy transport industries.

Required skills and qualifications include:

• Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III or higher)
• Proven experience in your trade, preferably within the marine, defence, or heavy transport industries
• Ability to assess a job, develop a plan, and see it through independently
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
