Senior Corporate Finance and Investment Manager

Our client is a commercial real estate financier and investor in Melbourne. The company manages both principal capital and external high-net-worth investors, renowned for its innovative investment strategies and robust portfolio.
About the JobA senior-level position has arisen due to sustained business growth, seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance and Investment professional. The successful candidate will lead the efficient execution of credit transactions, overseeing and managing a team of analysts and associates to ensure accurate analysis and investment papers.
- Lead a Team: Direct and motivate a group of analysts and associates in investment analysis and transaction management.
- Credit Transaction Execution: Structure and negotiate terms for subordinated credit and complex credit investments.
- Project Management: Manage deal leadership in the execution and analysis of investments, ensuring accuracy in preparation of transaction modelling, leading the preparation of transaction review and investment committee papers and term sheets.
- Manage external stakeholder relationships throughout the deal life cycle and ensure negotiated outcomes are consistent with relevant approvals.
- Ensure delivery of all fund, investor and transaction reporting on time and to the requisite assessment standard.
- Contribute to the training and development of Associates and Analysts.
- Assist other investment team members in transaction management when capacity constraints are evident.
- At least 5 years experience across relevant disciplines in real estate gained in banking, private equity, advisory or investment management.
- Tertiary qualification with preference for related fields such as finance, commerce, construction, real estate, or legal.
- Understanding of construction risks, documentation and contract risks.
