Key Responsibilities

A high-performing Production Supervisor is required to oversee the safe execution of mine plans, ensuring optimal production outcomes in accordance with operating standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of experienced operators, encouraging skills development to deliver superior production results. A continuous improvement approach is necessary to identify and enhance operating philosophies and processes, promoting quality and efficiency in operations.

About The Role
  • First and foremost, focus on creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing and coaching the team. Lead by example, support a diverse and inclusive team with a collaborative culture.
  • Manage a team of experienced and new-to-industry operators, fostering the growth of skills to achieve exceptional production results.
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach to enhance operational philosophy and processes, guaranteeing quality and efficiency in operations.
Skills And Qualifications

A strong commitment to safety, compliance with site safety standards, and mine working procedures is essential. The successful candidate will possess:

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, ability to foster positive working relationships and adapt to various communication styles.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, lead, and facilitate cooperation with production personnel.
  • Proven ability to plan, organise, and coordinate a variety of tasks within a dynamic environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP and similar systems and databases.
  • Experience in leadership roles with strong people management skills.
  • Experience working in mining production roles.
  • Mining Supervisor Statement of Attainment - G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3).
