Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Care Supervisor to join our residential care home team. The successful candidate will work 36 hours per week on a rotational basis, including weekends.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support a team of care staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained at all times
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of care plans for residents
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain professional competence
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social or equivalent
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a similar role within a residential care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of emotional intelligence and empathy
