This is a role within our Motor Fleet Underwriting team, working with us to ensure we deliver first-class propositions to our chosen market.
As part of this team, you will contribute to the execution of the underwriting strategy for the Class of Business, working within the agreed risk appetite and own individual authority to process quotes, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and cancellations.
- You will be responsible for contributing to the development of our underwriting appetite for our product(s), assisting in the management of portfolio performance through analysis of results and recommendations.
- Additionally, you will work with operational leadership team & technical training team to identify training needs and support employee development through feedback, coaching, and training.
Key qualifications, skills, and experience include financial responsibility, commercial awareness, pricing practices, and interpersonal skills which allow you to build and maintain relationships.
The ideal candidate will have good articulation and numeracy skills, with the ability to articulate mutually beneficial relationships and having challenging conversations with broker partners as required.
