We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team, driving quality assurance initiatives and enhancing our testing processes.

This is a high-impact project where you will have the opportunity to shape the future of online shopping and fulfillment for two beloved Australian brands. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and leverage your extensive experience in automation testing to deliver exceptional software products.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications and web services, focusing on Restful APIs. You will perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure system reliability and performance.

You will also identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, conduct testing of applications on Android store devices, and collaborate with vendors/third parties to coordinate testing efforts and document test results effectively.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • Strong experience in web testing and web service automation, particularly with Restful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
  • Proficient in automation frameworks and testing tools.
  • Strong coordination skills, with experience documenting test results and collaborating with vendors.
  • Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr).
