AI Integration Leader

As a key member of our AI team, you will lead or collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality, AI-enabled software solutions.

You will combine strong backend engineering skills with practical AI expertise to architect and implement high-throughput APIs that integrate with and leverage AI services.

  • Technical Leadership & Architecture: Make key architectural decisions on API security, scalability, reliability, and how to incorporate Large Language Models (LLMs) into our platform
  • Lead integration solutions using Spring Boot 3.x, reactive patterns (WebFlux), and API gateways (Apigee) while mentoring other developers

Champion improvements in integration best practices (performance, security) with a focus on enabling AI-driven applications and ensuring efficient content retrieval workflows where relevant.

Collaborate with AI and platform engineers to design APIs for model inferencing (e.g., hosting endpoints for LLM queries, vector search, or other AI-driven tasks).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive observability (monitoring, alerting, logging) and reliability practices, ensuring resilience and smooth user experiences
  • Partner with Product Owners to shape technical requirements and best approaches for AI-enabled product features, translating business goals into architectural designs
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, especially around LLM usage, integration patterns, and AI code assistants (GitHub Copilot, etc.)
Decision Making Scope:
  • Architectural direction for integration patterns that incorporate AI components (e.g., RAG, models, agents)
  • Technology choices for new solutions around General AI usage, vector databases, and AI frameworks (SpringAI, LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI)
