About the Role

As a passionate and organised Coordinator, you will lead a team of Educators at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state-specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft.
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About the Service

This service has an excellent relationship with the school and their families. They operate out of the school hall, with roughly 20 students in the morning and 30-45 in the afternoons, as well as room to grow this even further. You'd be working alongside a permanent Educator who is at all sessions, as well as occasional casual staff.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience leading and managing teams.
  • An understanding of how to support children with additional needs.
  • A national police check and a state check for working with children.
  • Australian work rights.
  • A Diploma level or higher qualification in an ACECQA approved area.
