About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency incidents and provide fire and rescue services
  • Participate in regular drills and training sessions to maintain and develop competencies
  • Contribute to community education and awareness activities to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner
  • Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of station facilities and equipment
Requirements
  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence
