Job Opportunity

Golding Contractors, a leading mining and civil infrastructure project management services business, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Professional to join their team in Brisbane.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves providing effective HR advice and support to leaders across multiple project and operational sites. As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing guidance on general HR/IR matters, including issue resolution, performance management, and employee development;
  • Supporting the Specialist HR Advisor with employment contracts and internal employee correspondence;
  • Conducting and/or assisting with workplace investigations into people complaints or other matters;
  • Delivering training to leaders and personnel on various HR and IR topics;
  • Collaborating with the Manager and Specialist HR Advisors to execute HR/IR strategies across Golding;
  • Collecting and analysing HR data and information to advise the Manager on trends and recommend improvements;
  • Participating in HR audits and governance activities;
  • Performing HR administration tasks, including controlling records and labour hire vendor documentation;
  • Identifying business improvement opportunities and recommending initiatives to enhance the Golding system;
  • Developing effective relationships with leaders at all levels and external stakeholders as required.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree-level qualification in Human Resources or a related field;
  • Experience in a similar role within the mining and civil construction industry (highly preferred);
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and contemporary HR/IR policies and processes (highly preferred);
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach;
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills;
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

  • An estimated annual salary of $90,000 - $110,000, depending on experience;
