Career Opportunity:

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Master Civil Engineer Project Coordinator to join our team in Canberra.

This role will involve coordinating the delivery of Light Rail Stage 2A – City to Commonwealth Park project over the next four years.

The successful candidate will have strong civil engineering skills and experience working with Tier 1/2 head contractors in Australia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-site engineering functions through subordinates.
  • Obtain design parameter information for detailed designs and construction specifications.
  • Monitor quality and quantities of incoming equipment and materials.
  • Coordinate engineering team activities and programme workloads.
  • Ensure project completion is on time and within budget.
  • Accurate forecasts of costs and revenue.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and planning authorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated 10+ years site-based experience with a Tier 1/2 head contractor in Australia.
