Job Description

As a Hydrogeologist or Geochemist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale world-class mining and oil and gas projects. These include field-based projects across a very wide range of geological environments, conceptualisation and numerical model development, and investigations feeding into designs, management plans, and mine closure for the Mining and Energy Resources Sector.

  • You will undertake hydrogeological assessments including data collection, interpretation of field data, site investigation planning and co-ordination, assisting with aquifer conceptualisation, client and regulatory liaison, and contribution to hydrogeological reports.
  • You will be involved in field programs including drilling and aquifer testing, water sampling, field mapping, bore completion, contractor management, and more.
  • You will collaborate with and learn from a team of passionate, experienced geoscientists across a variety of projects.
  • You will support other projects as required, particularly larger geosciences, engineering, and environmental studies in a variety of locations with unique technical challenges.
