Fitness & Recreation Team Member

At our fitness and recreation facilities across the state, you will be part of a dynamic team that shares a passion for making a difference in people's lives.
Our centre is an important community hub, managed by YMCA Victoria in partnership with City of Melbourne. The Centre offers a range of recreational, social, cultural and educational experiences to the local community.
The role involves working closely with colleagues who are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing customers with sales solutions when enquiring about memberships and programs
- Conducting centre tours with prospective members
- Following up customers and members as required
- Promoting available programs and services
- Accurately receipt, process and balance customer payments
This is a casual position that requires pool lifeguard qualifications due to centre requirements. In exchange, you can enjoy flexible rostering arrangements, opportunities for career development, free access to gyms, recreation, and aquatics centres across the state, and more.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
